I hopped on the Noted team in late 2020 as they were about to launch their first limited collection of showstopping desk supplies. Armed with a voice brief, a suite of photos, and a direct line to one of the designers, I built their social media from scratch.
Since then we’ve deepened our collaboration to include SEO-rich copywriting for shop listings, benchmark-busting digital ads, pitch building, and (a personal favorite with little to no real impact) naming color palettes.
A different tone
Noted by Post-it is a unique line for 3M, a company so focused on science and substance that it has little time for style. While refining Noted’s social media voice, we wanted it to fit under the 3M umbrella but communicate its own POV.
What we landed on was a voice that was brisk, a little deadpan, and undeniably human. Every week while writing captions and other content, I try really hard to sound like I’m not trying hard. 🥲
